Scout Camp

The three camps of the Grand Teton Council offer extraordinary opportunities for adventure. From the Salmon River to the Grand Tetons, various activities are offered including: biking, rappelling, and sailing at Island Park; swimming, canoeing, and the Honor Trail at Little Lemhi; and hikes, orienteering, and Battle of the Tetons at Treasure Mountain. Whatever your Scouting needs, wants, or dreams, they can be satisfied at summer camp.

Take a minute to look over what the Grand Teton Council has to offer. These summer camps are open to all Boy Scouts.

Our BSA Scout Camps offer

Some of the most beautiful hikes in the intermountain west.

Lakefronts with exciting water sports, canoeing, sailing, and swimming.

Wide variety of Merit Badges for the advancement of the Boy Scout. Most boys come home ready to advance to their next rank.

Each camp has a qualified, enthusiastic, and trained staff ready to serve your unit and provide learning, fun, adventure, and advancement.

Campfires, which are a wonderful tradition in the Grand Teton Council. Troops and patrols participate and have a great time. On Friday night, the families are invited to any camp to observe and enjoy.

Trading Posts with unusual, unique items for purchase. Handicraft projects, Merit Badge books, Scout stuff, pop, candy, T-shirts, hats, mugs, belt buckles and much, much more are available.

To sign up, a deposit of $200 reservation fee is required to hold your campsite. This may be refunded later, used for camp fees, or as a rollover to reserve a camp the next year.

For specific questions about each camp, please refer to the Leader's Guide that is available in PDF form. In May, an updated, complete Leader's Guide will be available with 2010 revisions.
