The Silver Beaver Award
The Silver Beaver Award is presented upon action of the Grand Teton Council for outstanding service to youth within the Council for outstanding longtime service to youth by a registered Scouter residing within that Council. The average tenure for Silver Beaver candidates is ten years or longer. Candidates for this award must be nominated. Self-nomination disqualifies the candidate.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the Grand Teton Council Silver Beaver Association is to:
- Sustain leadership and provide service to youth
- To support Boy Scouts of America with financial assistanceand service.
- To foster fellowship between Silver Beaver recipients
- And to promote recognition both for the Silver Beaver Association and the individual Silver Beaver recipient.
